The Midwest’s biggest gaming event will return!

Thanks to everyone who attended the first annual Midwest Campus Clash and Gaming Expo on April 8, 2017! More than 1,300 gaming fans passed through the doors to enjoy the two gaming tournaments and all of the expo experiences, giveaways and challenges.

We’re delighted to announce that the event will return on April 7, 2018, promising even more e-sports action and gaming experiences for both hardcore gamers and casual fans alike!

The Tournament

On April 8, 2017, eight of the Midwest’s best collegiate eSports teams battled live at Columbia College for the $25,000 Midwest Campus Clash (MWCC) prize pool. Fending off tough competition from the likes of Ohio State, University of Michigan and Columbia College, Robert Morris University emerged victorious, taking home the inaugural MWCC championship. Teams for the 2018 tournament will be announced in early 2018.

What is League of Legends?

League of Legends is a multiplayer online battle arena game where teams battle to destroy the opposing team’s "nexus".

CSL Madden Spring Tournament

The North American finals of the Collegiate Star League Madden Spring tournament took place live in Columbia, after two months of frenetic online competition. The four finalists in both the PS4 and X BOX One categories of the EA sports classic were flown to the event to square off live for the ultimate prize.
